A show that provides great soul music , Motown, Disco, but covering all music from the 50’s to the present day and songs that touch our ‘Heart & Soul’. We have regular show features such as ‘Classic Album – Classic Tracks’, ‘Marmite Motown’, ‘Lenuta’s Shazam Smash’ and the 60’s well covered with ‘Ray Adnett’s Attic Classics, with six classic tunes from the best decade for music ever. Not to forget to conclude the show ‘The Love Fest’ playing wonderful ballads and love songs.

My name is John Brandom, also known as ‘The Old Soulster’ I was born in Newport Pagnell on the 9th May 1957 at Westbury Maternity Home, but my family has been in the Stantonbury/New Bradwell area since 1820. I now live in the lovely town of Stony Stratford since 2010, previous to that Two Mile Ash. I have a huge love of music with an equally large music collection of vinyl and cd’s that l have collected over 45 years. My musical taste centres around soul and Motown but l love all decades of popular and rock music too. A big Beatles fan, my very first album was “A Hard Day’s Night” bought for my 7th birthday!! I love anything by Elton John, Smooth Jazz and Philly. Generally you can expect any musical genre when you tune in, apart from folk, heavy metal and classical!!! All time song that reflects my love for music is “Music” by John Miles.
